What do you do to keep in such great physical condition?

A:  I enjoy playing racquetball.  It's definitely competitive and it's the cornerstone of my physical and mental health.

Did you always plan on being a dad?

A:  For a while I didn't think I was the fatherly type.  I was selfish, self-centered and too busy pursuing a career.  I got out of touch with one of the most basic human emotions, wanting to have a child.

The fans just love your passionate scenes with Marcy.  Have they ever gotten you in trouble?

A:  We have problems occasionally with Standards and Practices (the censors).  I think the reason we get away with stuff is because of the respect in (Cruz and Eden's) relationship.  I think that people give us leeway because respect mitigates some of the passion.  Our relationship is a good (role) model for people.

How does your wife, Leslie, feel about those scenes?

A:  Leslie had problems (with it) at first.  She came to the set and witnessed the process of how it's done.  That helped her a bit.  (It's difficult because) you really do have to be intimate and projecting at the same time.

How do you feel about the role of Cruz after all this time?

A:  Cruz is a blessing.  He's someone I can bring my knowledge to.  It's really frustrating when you can't bring that to a character.

How did you like working on the movie She Devil?

A:  That was a gas.  It was a big thrill to do comedy with the likes of Meryl Streep.  She just happens to be my favorite performer.

Any specific plans for the future?

A:  You just have no way of knowing what's around the bend.  Right now I'm happy to be steadily employed and hope that when I turn around and take stock ten or twenty years down the line, I can still say I'm happy to be steadily employed!
