Thanks to Anne in Australia!

A Martinez never has any trouble finding beautiful women to work with -- blondes to be specific -- and that was just the case when he teamed up with Farrah Fawcett in the ABC movie "Criminal Behavior". He describes Farrah as having "great instincts for what will and will not work, and we did a lot of playing around with the material."
A's role in the movie was unlike anything that he's done before because "it was the sexiest part that I've had on primetime. Our characters were lovers," which was awkward at first for both Fawcett and Martinez.

"It's delicate when you have to pretend to be somebody's lover if you don't know them. Luckily, the love scene was scheduled for the last week, so by the time that we got to it, we knew each other."
As reported in the last issue of SOU, the movie's executive producer Preston Fischer was so impressed with A, that they're working together on another film. "In it, I will play a character convicted of a crime that he didn't commit," A reveals.
As for the newest blonde in his professional life -- Kim Zimmer (Jodie) -- A is thrilled to be able to call her a SB co-star. "No one expected her to take command of the situation like she has done so incredibly. Jack Wagner (Warren) was a little bit like that too -- he took no prisoners from day one.

"The first scene that we did -- the shower scene -- talk about baptism by fire...and I can't tell you what the vibe is around here now that Pam Long is writing...It's like the guy who was crawling around in the desert and finally found water. There's a sense of joy in this building again; it's just like the days when we were in our stride here."
Days when he worked with Marcy Walker (Eden). Does he still keep in touch with her? "I talk to her occasionally," A answers. "She's got a project coming up in June. It's a movie-of-the-week for a network, and she did a cable movie a little while ago. I was just in Italy this weekend and she was in France, where we are kept busy by the popularity of Santa Barbara there. We are promoting the show."

When asked what he wants for Cruz's future, A quickly responds: "I'm beyond wanting. Now you look at the script and wonder how you'll cover it in one day!"
